As an ethical salesperson and top sales closer, I help people make decisions that are good for them.
I rarely refer to myself as a salesperson. A more accurate job description would be assistant buyer.

Customers who buy from ethical salespeople come out ahead in the transaction. They are better off and happier.
For a business to stay in business it must be sustainable and profitable.
But that is not the whole story!
First, the customer profits. (their life is enriched)
Only then can the company legitimately make a profit.
And thirdly, the person who made the sale, profits. (earns a commission / collects a salary)
I emphasise this because many salespeople believe that the only profit that matters, is the salesperson’s commission.
If you think like that, you are missing my point and cannot consider yourself an ethical salesperson.
You will never be a top closer, because today especially, people can smell fake.
Top-class sales closers are special people, when they are doing their job correctly you would not even be aware they are salespeople. Above all, top-class (in a league of their own) sales closers are ethical. Being ethical and trustworthy is the cornerstone of their sales strategy.
